SEPTEMBER:
Reading Focus:
In reading we will be focusing on "WHO" Comprehension & Capitalization : Capital letters in words, sentences, first & last names as well as common & proper nouns.
Life Skills:
In Life Skills we will be focusing on brushing teeth, flossing, & using mouth wash.
October:
In reading we will be focusing on "WHERE" comprehension/ "What is writing?" & Capitalization : Capitalizing specific places, things, calendar days, special days and days of the week.
Life Skills:
In Life Skills we will be focusing on using mouthwash, going to the dentist & using deodorant.
November:
In reading we will be focusing on "WHAT" comprehension & abbreviations for Months & Days .
Life Skills:
In Life Skills we will be focusing on taking care of your skin.
December:
With the month of December being so short, we will be introducing nouns focusing on a person, place or a thing (an animal is a thing). / We will also be focusing on creating sentences and applying them into paragraph form.
Life Skills:
In Life Skills we will be introducing taking care of acne.
January 2020:
Welcome back!!! We will begin right where we left off before break. Students will be reintroduced to nouns focusing on a person, place or thing (an animal is a thing). / We will also be reintroducing sentences and paragraph form.
Life Skills:
In Life Skills we will be introducing morning routines as well as combing and brushing your hair.
