Capitalizing: Proper Nouns
**A Proper Noun tells us ABOUT a person , place, or thing by giving us the NAME of it. Proper Nouns begin with a CAPITAL LETTER.
Reading Strategies:
1. Ask Questions: Questions open the doors to understand the world and investigate. Ask questions based on a visual or a story the student is reading (Who, what when, where, why).
2. Visualizing: When a student visualizes they construct meaning by creating mental images, allowing them to use their imaginations. When reading a sentence or a story take your time to stop in between and guide the student to visualize what they are reading.
